03 — HOW WE WORK

Culture withoutthe corporate speak.

No mission statements from a boardroom retreat. These are principles that guide how we actually work, with real examples from our day-to-day operations.

Honest Work

We build things that work, not things that impress. Code quality over clever tricks.

EXAMPLE

We spent 2 weeks refactoring a client's system instead of adding new features because the foundation was broken.

Client Success First

Our success is measured by client outcomes, not our own growth metrics.

EXAMPLE

We returned $150K to a client when we realized their problem was organizational, not technical.

Sustainable Pace

We work efficiently, not excessively. Burnout helps no one.

EXAMPLE

No meetings after 4 PM. No weekend deployments. No "urgent" requests that aren't actually urgent.

Learn by Doing

We learn from real projects, not theoretical courses. Every client challenge teaches us something.

EXAMPLE

Each team member dedicates 10% of time to experimenting with tools they might use on future projects.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Questions we get.Honest answers.

Real questions from real candidates. No sugarcoating in the answers.

Occasionally, but we're honest about what that means: you'll be thrown into client projects quickly and expected to learn fast. We prefer people with 2-3 years of experience who can contribute immediately.

Straightforward and respectful of your time. No puzzle questions, no all-day interviews, no unpaid "trial projects." We want to see how you solve real problems, not how you perform under artificial pressure.

Rarely. Most of our work is remote. Occasionally we'll visit a client for project kickoffs, but it's usually optional and we cover all expenses.

No crunch time unless something is genuinely on fire. No pressure to work weekends. Vacation time that you actually use. We measure success by results, not hours worked.

We set realistic timelines from the start and communicate proactively when issues arise. If a client is consistently unreasonable, we end the relationship. Your mental health is more important than any contract.

This probably isn't the right fit. We're a services company and most of our work is client-focused. We occasionally build internal tools, but it's not our primary business.

Still have questions?

Every role is different. Let's discuss your specific situation and see if we're a good fit.
